Central Coast Bonsai Club Welcomes Marija Hajdić from Croatia

With over 20 years of experience, Marija is known for her refined work with deciduous yamadori and broadleaf trees, and is considered one of the most influential bonsai artists outside of Japan.

She has trained under renowned artists like Walter Pall.

Her personal collection features over 100 hand collected yamadori trees. Marija has exhibited regularly at The Trophy (Belgium) since 2011 and held solo shows in Germany and Croatia.

Marija regularly contributes to the international bonsai scene through articles in Bonsai Focus and Bonsai Esprit, and by leading workshops and demos across Europe and abroad.

Her award-winning trees in natural style reflect her view of bonsai as living sculpture, with the tree as the artistic medium.
